In January 2026, Nexus expanded its internal harm reduction resources by integrating direct links to DanceSafe, TripSit, and several national drug helpline services within relevant product category pages. The initiative responds to long-standing community requests for better safety information integrated directly into the browsing experience rather than requiring users to navigate away from the marketplace.

DanceSafe is a 501(c)(3) public health organization that promotes health and safety within the nightlife and festival communities. Their testing guides and reagent kit availability information have been widely recommended within harm reduction communities for decades. TripSit provides comprehensive drug interaction tools and factsheets covering hundreds of substances.

What Changed

Category pages for pharmaceutical-adjacent products now include a clearly visible harm reduction banner containing: a link to relevant TripSit factsheets, a link to the DanceSafe testing kit guide for relevant reagents, and the regional emergency services number for the buyer's declared country of residence.

The platform also implemented a fentanyl test strip awareness notice on all opioid and stimulant-adjacent categories, given the ongoing contamination crisis in the illicit supply chain. These strips, available from DanceSafe and other harm reduction organizations, detect fentanyl and most common analogs.

Community response to the initiative has been broadly positive, with health advocates noting that integrating harm reduction at the point of purchase — rather than treating it as a separate educational issue — is more likely to reach users who need the information.
